What happens in a life coaching session?
Firstly, there is a FREE 30 minute chemistry call which is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and decide if we can work together. Next we have an initial session where I will ask you questions relating to your life and personal goals, what areas you are happy and unhappy with and where you see yourself in the future. We will also agree on what you want to achieve from your coaching sessions and decide how many sessions are required to meet your objectives.
Coaching is very much a partnership. My role as coach is to encourage you to explore how to make positive changes in your life based on your aspirations. This may include exercises and tasks for you to complete outside the coaching session. I will also challenge you and give you honest feedback to help you to stay focused on your goals.

What is the difference between coaching & counselling?
Counselling is a clinical intervention led by a qualified healthcare professional, and includes the diagnosis and treatment of psycho-social disorders.
Coaching is a process that focuses on actions and results. As a coach, I meet my clients in the present moment, and focus on their future. My role is to help you clarify goals, identify obstacles, and create strategies for moving forward.
How many sessions do I need?
Life coaching is unique to each individual client, and so is the number of sessions required. The bigger and more involved the goal is, the more sessions you may need to achieve your objectives. Short term goals such as preparing for an interview, or a promotional opportunity may only require 3-4 sessions.
